Our Mission

Prevent Harm and Save Lives of Children impacted by Button Batteries through 4 pillars:

1. Raising Awareness

Button battery ingestion is a growing and fatal issue. We aim to raise awareness in the medical, educational, and caregiver communities.

2. Informing the Public

Through the evidence-based information on this site, we hope to make button battery prevention and treatment information more accessible to caregivers, educators and physicians.

3. Preventing Ingestions

Through primary, secondary and tertiary prevention, we hope to stop the rise of button battery ingestions and complications, and help keep children in our communities safe.

4. Connecting the Community

We aim to create a community of individuals passionate about button battery safety.

Together, we can make a difference and provide support to those in need.
